THEMA & ZIEL
Unter dem Titel “Body Building” wird ein Konzept verstanden, potenzielle architektonische Systeme
zu erörtern und diese durch Körpersysteme vom Mensch zu beschreiben. Das Ziel ist mit einer der
Systeme zu arbeiten, ein physisches Modell, einen Prototypen oder visuelle Installation zu entwickeln
um das Konzept zu beschreiben.
METHODEN
Für die Erstellung der Modelle und Prototypen werden die drei REX|LAB Roboter eingesetzt. Für Fabrikationsmethoden wird auf 3D‐Druck und Schlickerguss sowie auf Kombinationen dieser beiden konzentriert und sowohl mit elastischen, als auch harten Materialien gearbeitet (z.B. Silikon, Gips etc.).

Under the working title Self-Driven City, suggested by curator Marten Kaevats, TAB15 explores urban development and architectural design in the context of the third industrial revolution. TAB15 aims to turn Tallinn into a test-site for a future city, conceptualising and visualising the ideas and techniques how architecture might be built.
The Curator's Exhibition 2015 "Body Building" focuses on 10 international young architects, who are exploring the most innovative systems for advancing the art of building.
The exhibition is curated by architects duo Siim Tuksam & Sille Pihlak, exhibited at the Estonian Museum of Architecture.
