AUSTRIA UNDER CONSTRUCTION: AUSTRIAN ARCHITECTURE AROUND THE WORLD; INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE IN AUSTRIA
 12th International Architecture Exhibition

Marjan named one of the invited exhibitors in the Austrian Pavilion, curated by Eric O. Moss, at this year's 12th International Architectural Biennale, which will be held from August 29 to November 21 2010 at the Giardini and at the Arsenale (preview August 26, 27 and 28 2010), and in various other venues in Venice.

Marjan is part of the section: EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTS TEACHING IN AUSTRIA, featuring:

Hitoshi Abe, Marjan Colletti, Hernan Diaz Alonso, Zaha Hadid, Cratg Hodgetts and Ming Fung, Hiromi Hosoya and Markus Schaefer, Tom Kovac, Greg Lynn, Elena Manferdini, Thom Mayne, Alexis Rochas, Francois Roche, Patrik Schumacher, Marcelo Spina, Kjetil Thorsen, Lebbeus Woods.

The central theme of the exhibit’s concept is Austrian architectural exports and imports as one of our country’s essential strengths. Austrian architects working all over the world and international architects planning and building Austrian projects are an important factor in architectural discourse, which derives from this exchange and its related transformations and the close examination of architectural concepts: Moss is already working on a detailed concept for the exhibition, which will depict Austria’s potential in the field of architecture. The concept will be presented officially together with Cultural Minister Claudia Schmied in Spring/Early Summer 2010.
